Thomas Kerbl is an application security consultant with over 10 years of experience. His main area of activity is helping software development companies and end customer organizations to procure and develop secure software by establishing and improving processes, guidelines and quality of software code within their organizations. He strongly believes that insecure "Toxic Software" contains severe security vulnerabilities and poses highly probable risks to the confidentiality, availability and integrity of its owner due to state-sponsored or criminal hackers being able to take advantage of such vulnerabilities in toxic software.
